Cured - part 4

Today I woke up and took inventory while Kira sat on a metal shipping crate kicking her legs back and forth. I have:

-23 cans

-can opener (thank God)

-a sleeping bag

-a hub cap (the ultimate multipurpose tool)

-gun

-ammo

-knife

-four gallons clean water

-two gallons dirty water (yet to be boiled)

-three stubby pencils

-old school notebook (not much used due to chronic cases of sleeping in class (I drooled quite often))

-"A Clockwork Orange"(one of the only books i have actually enjoyed reading besides "The Cat In The Hat")

I have read exactly 68 times. It helps fight off the all encompassing boredom of this horrible world. Before it actually happened, there was a bit of excitement in the thought of the apocalypse. People fantasized about (boobs) (sorry)(I am easily distracted) holing up in a Walmart somewhere or ridding the world of hordes of zombies by picking them off one by one from their attic window. The only problem with that plan was the fact that most of the zombies were in the big cities where there were more people than bullets and all the Walmarts were cleaned out by scavengers(everyone) lifetimes ago. Life consists mostly of gathering supplies and keeping watch. I do have some other stuff that I didn't take inventory of. I know it's still there because I buried it under a chunk of loose concrete in the corner of the warehouse. There is a bottle of cheap wine(Strawberry Hill), a lighter(Bic), a stick of gum(Doublemint), a can of mashed potatoes(GreatValue(Giant generic brand)), a gun(I have no fucking idea). It's for my last day. One last bullet. One last chance. I hope I don't miss.(also I seem to have stumbled into a relationship(with parentheses(it's pretty damn serious)))
