It's been six days since my last entry. Six long... hellish days... The number of Zombies littering the street has increased. My wife and Daughter are starting to get antsy now. I can't blame them either.
We're running low on food and I went down to check on the generators in the basement. They're almost on empty. We've got maybe a few more hours until we can... shit... the lights just went off. I'll finish this entry in a bit.
===================
It's about 6pm at this point. Maybe seven, I can't tell. Too damn dark down here in the basement. The flash light I was able to snag from the security office is all the light I've got down here. Jana and Emma are with me. We've loaded as much non-perishable food as we could find into some backpacks we found around the building and we're going to go through the tunnel to the parking garage.
I could see from the 18th floor that the parking garage gates are down. That's good news, because it's hard as hell to get into the parking garage with the gates down. And that's when you're actually flexible and not half-rotten. There won't be many Zombies in the garage, if any. I'm really hoping it's "if any".
====================
I can't believe we made it to the van... holy hell... My heart is still pounding. Parking garage was packed with Zeds. God I hate those fucking things. Jana and Em are okay, so it's all good. We busted through the gate and ran over all of the fuckers in the streets.
We're on the road now, heading up to the highway. I've got a couple stops to make on the way...
Knew I should have bought that shot-gun.
