Something's out there. Went out to the pier tonight but was stopped by something hitting the porch. How big do cats get?

This morning I woke up to find the door was wide open and Daniel gone. Where? One dog was barking down near the pier and the other was chewing on something; it looked like a hot dog. I just figured it got it from a neighbor. Thomas and Amber wonder where Daniel went as well; I doubt he would have walked home...

Found blood splat on some plants outside. I wonder if Daniel's ok... maybe the blood is from an animal... hopefully.

Daniel showed up, looking sick. He seemed like he was in a state of dementia; he didn't seem to know where he was. I thought he was just fucked up, until he tried to attack Thomas.

He's still outside.... moaning. What happened? That's got to be some good shit.

Damn, that moaning is annoying as fuck. Good news is the dogs have stopped barking at him. I'm going out in a minute to see what's wrong.

What the fuck...

There was blood everywhere outside... and the only thing left of the dogs was some fur and a collar...

Daniel tried to attack me; fucker's strong. He almost had no pupils... and felt clammy, like a nervous kid before a test.

He went down easy though... then again, I guess a lead pipe to the head can knock anyone unconscious... That wasn't him though, that was something else.

I'm sorry Daniel...

They are showing on the news that it's a virus, like a cold. However, it's not airborne... it's only spread through fluid transfusion, like AIDS. They say that it's under control and that they don't know exactly what it is yet.

Bull shit.

I wonder where the dogs are... We're going to town to see if it's different there.

Woman laying in the middle of the road. Entrails strewn about as if a cougar had ripped her clean open. Her car was parked in the ditch, doors closed... driver side window was busted with blood all over the dash. What the hell is happening to this place? News still doesn't know what's virus is or the main carrier.

It's like a ghost town... there's nobody out; hell, for all I know there's no one alive. Cars seem to be thrown about the highway and loop, most of them wrecked, hissing smoke billowing from their hoods.

Went into a convenient store... I found the clerk, dead behind the counter. Well, I thought he was dead, he seemed to still be breathing. I just put the money for the gas on the counter and left.

Nobody in this town left, it seems. We're going to our families homes to see if maybe they are still there, hiding.
