Quick Update

Here's more on that injured guy who washed up on the shore yesterday -- my friend's mom works at the hospital, so I got a lot of the details. He must've been crazy or something, because she said the guy didn't speak at all. He sort of moaned and made "weird, animal-like sounds," according to the staff.

Not only that, but he actually tried to bite the EMTs as they unloaded him. They had to strap him down, and even then he still managed to break one girl's skin. I hope she's current on her rabies shots... who knows what she could pick up from some crazy dude like that?

Anyway, after that the guy snapped through the straps (and how the hell did he have enough strength to do that, if he was injured?!) and tore off into the surrounding scrub. The cops are out looking for him now. Great, another crazy on the loose in FL. What else is new? :/

Anyway, I'm Radioshack-bound with a couple friends -- you never know what you can cannibalize out of $20 worth of parts and a lot of spare time.

P.S. Ugh, I think I got burned a little on the beach yesterday. Sucks. :(
