So I finally have a few moments to spare to start blogging my story for everyone. Am so glad I found this site if for nothing just to document what has happened so far. I am BENTJUSTICE a paramedic and a father and a survivor. My best friend and I joked for years about a pending infestation and would sit around concocting different plans for survival. THANK GOD we did. I mean we used to joke around and ask people "Do you have a plan?" Well I am glad joking or not he and I actually had a half baked idea for a plan or otherwise we would be dinner right now. I have always been one to have a survivalist mentality, not attached to any form of politics but more of a "what if" kinda of mentality. We should have known this was coming and maybe on a subconscious level we did. Aprox 6 months ago my best friend who is also a paramedic responded to a call for an "assault with a human bite" at the same time another unit else where responed to the same. Nothing came of those calls and more importantly they were never in the papers. But it was just strange and I am glad we took notice of it. I had started a small stash of gear, not much but better than nothing. A .40 cal handgun several mags and 200 rounds, an AR-15 several mags and 400 rounds, couple cases of bottled water,30-40 MRE's ect and a 12 gauge shotgun 100 rounds all locked up tight in my attic.
We live in hurricane country (Charleston SC) so we always keep extra water and canned goods handy as well as are prescriptions ect ready to go, another plus that probably saved time and our lives. Gotta run a sentry is sounding a general alarm ANY SURVIVORS in Charleston SC we are secure in the Costco in West Ashley, try to hail us on CB channel 19 we have plenty of h20 and food need more ammo and guns and smart right minded people to help. GOTTA RUN -----
