Day 6

It has been nearly a week since the outbreak and no help so far. I was out camping when i heard screams from a nearby site. I looked with my binoculars and saw a woman screaming as a man covered in blood bit into her throat. I knew that there was something definitely wrong so i went as fast as i could back to town to see if there was anything wrong. When i got to town everything seemed fine so i just figured that it was some crazy guy and the cops prolly busted him and it was gunna be all over the news in the morning. I just decided to go to bed and wait till morning to see what was going on. I woke up to a loud crash down the street. When i looked out the window i saw the most horrible sight of my life. The town was in mayhem. Cars were crashed and backed up in the street and some houses were even on fire. i could hear screams all over town. As i ran down to the front door and looked down the street i saw horrible sights. my neighbor was being ripped apart by what used to be her husband. I knew i had to get out of here. I packed up all i could including canned foods, a couple jugs of water and my 12 gauge shotgun. I have been planning for an outbreak kind of just for fun. i never thought in my wildest dreams it would come true. they were all over my yard and around my neighborhood so i knew this wouldnt be easy. i busted out the door and shot one in the head right as i got out. i now knew they were all focused on me. i ran as fast as i could to the garage and got out my old dirt bike and prayed it would start. with a loud rev i took off down the back streets and knew just where to go. as i got to the police station it was a mess. blood all over the front and dead bodies all over. there were to many zombies outside so i just decided to go. the more i looked around town the more terrified i became. the whole damn town was in chaos. i had to get out. i went to a little cabin i have a little distance from town. i knew that i could set up there for a while at least. this is where i am now. i am going to go into town soon and look for supplies and survivors. i just cant give up hope.......
