9/12/08 - The Undead Storm

The worst thing that could happen... has happened.

Hurricane Ike (locally known as The Undead Storm) has taken a turn and is now hitting Houston with all of it's natural and unnatural fury. I am still held up in the attic, but reports on the local band stations say that the storm is driving the undead away from the coast...and heading right toward me.

On a good note, the high winds have caused the undead birds to struggle for flight...so the little bastard has finally stopped pecking at my attic vent for the moment.
The sky has turned a strange dark golden red color at the moment... back in Indiana the sky would turn a greenish color right before a tornado. The sky seems to be bleeding... an eerie sign of the coming undead wave.

The hurricane will cause power to fail, damage to homes and shelters...rescue efforts will struggle to save people and restore the cities infrastructure while constantly watching for our undead plague behind them. I must come up with a plan...I can't survive by staying in my attic. I have doubts that I can survive out there too...
