They ended up moving the 3 ICE detainees from the Congo back to general population because they were not showing any signs of being sick. With in 2 day the virus started to spread like wild fire, inmate sick calls tripled. Every one was coming down sick, the facility admin staff urged that all officers and their families go and get flew shots and start using UPE (Universal Protective Equipment, i.e. Gloves and Masks) when ever we went into any of the housing units. The 2nd day after the congo detainee died the CDC arrived and took over the medical wing. Our medical staff were asigned to assist them in any way needed. Once the CDC realized that the virus was speading they quarintined the medical wing. No one was allowed in or out without proper authorization. I saw at least 4-5 inmates go into the medical wing on gurneys, but they wern't being returned back to their housing units. We heard runners about these big buses pulling into our facility at odd hours and removing inmates and bringing in equipment. Our main control officer started becoming a bit antisocial and would not talk to anybody about work, all he would say was "HI" and "Bye" and he kept acting nervous constantly looking around. He ended up transfering to another facility out west. Then the CDC brought in WHO (World Health Organization) who brought in with them their own security force. Our computer access became limited to just checking our e-mails. Basicly we became their lackys, We watched over the housing units, maintained security in the housing units and served meals, that was all that we were allowed to do. They started pat searches on all employees coming and going from the facility, searching our cars and some employess swear they saw the security vans that they drive in the neighborhoods. Will contiue!!
