Soon after WHO arrived at our facility the really wierd stuff started happening. All of the windows in our medical wing were frosted so that light could come through but but you could not see, all you saw was shadows moving acroos the windows. The started to limit what was allowed into our facility, no electronic devices at all. All of the facility phones started to be recorded and you needed past code to use them. Our vehicles were searched on a daily basis. Staff were being brought in on our days off being questioned about our outside activities and people who we socialized with. We no they were tapping our home phones and our internet services. Most of us switched to using our cell phones instead of our home phones. I bought a laptop and would go down to the Starbucks Cafe or the Pinero Bread store and get on their WIFI to send e-mail and messages (I am still doing this as I Sit here and type this). We have lost some good officers who either could not deal with this or who were pressured to leave. About 3 weekd after the WHO group showed up I was part of a cell extraction that did not go well, officers got hurt as well as the inmate. I had to report to the medical wing for a body chart and a checkup. I had the start of the flu at the time. It took 4 hours for the body chart and checkup. They were all acting strangly. But what I saw while I was there really got me on edge. I saw partialy decomposed inmates that I knew just standing in front of their glass cells weaving back and forth staring out into the distance with no recognition of anything on their faces. As I was standing in the hall inmate Mojo was being escorted toward me. As they got to were I was standing he lunged at me trying to bite me. The two men escorting him where in military uniforms but the insignias were removed. No rank, No units, No Branch. A third one ran up and put a spit hood on Mojo and they lead him off to one of the all steel cells at the end of the hall. Then I noticed that all of the inmated that were not in cells all had the heavy duty spit hoods on. You could see blood splatter in most of the cells and on the walls in the hall ways and treatment rooms. I also found out while I was there that they had repaired an old elevator that had not been used for years working and were transporting inmates to and from the facility through an old emergency entrance that no one used any more. I asked one of the ecsorts as he walked pass me, what was wrong with old man Mojo and he told me that I did not have the security clearance to know. You have to understand Old Man Mojo (Morris Johnson) was a repeat offender who is constantly in and out of our facility, he weighs about 105 lbs shuffles along about as fast as a snail, he looks no officer or staff member in the eyes and his job is to pick up cigerrete butts in the compond rec yard. He always answer yesm boss iz movin boss. Never a problem, and here he is a raging animal trying to bite someone, I just did not make sence to me. Well after a few chest x-rays the physician on staff wanted me to come back in a few days to have him look at me again, he said that there was an outbreak of TB in the facility and he wanted to keep a check on me to make certain that I di not catch it, and if I did that I get treated right away. Then I was escorted to the main security check leading into the wing. The escort then advised me to forget what I saw and not to ask any questions and not to talk about anything. I just nodded and went back to my shift supervisor and gave him my paper work. I was sent home early that night after I wrote my reports on the cell extraction. To Be Continued.....
