:REPORT:
I left Camp Redemption three days ago, my mission was to hit a series of small towns on the Virginia, West Virginia border searching for supplies, survivors, or anything useful. So far not too much in the way of supplies and no survivors, I am beginning to think rebuilding this armored supply/transport vehicle was a waist of time. The only asset I have found to it is it provides a safe sleeping environment. On a different note I have on three occasions observed runners showing signs of increased intelligence and a pack like mentality. It is my opinion they are evolving, I have witnessed them using primitive pack hunting techniques, ambush tactics, and using other zombies and bodies as bait. This morning I witnessed a group of them bodies in to a blind alley then lying in wait behind doors. Soon after a pack of wild dogs followed the smell to the alley. The runners waited until the dogs were eating; then rushed from their hiding spots trapping the dogs between them and the wall. After killing the dogs they again exhibited pack like behavior as the majority of them waited as the apparent Alphas ate their fill, before they devoured the leftovers. If this isn’t an isolated evolutionary trend it is a very bad sign. If they are evolving and learning, they will become considerably more dangerous. After A few well placed shots from a grenade launcher made short work of them, but any further sightings will be reported; please verify this intelligence with any related data or sightings.
