The Fallen World: Part 2 - Plague Coming

The buzzing alarm woke me from my nightmares, Casper's Death became the press catchphrase. Nothing but Zombies in the news, radio, even MTV broke it's regular programming with updates every other hour, thank God for my DVD collection. But being Monday the rest of the unaffected world rolls on and I get out of bed and walked warily to the coffee machine to wake me up for work.

Today I start the post-production of an extreme survival show, and through the 3 weeks of shooting the poor bastard lugged through the Amazon, fighting malaria, anaconda's (one of which we lost a camera to), and his own stupidity. The coffee's aroma permeated my body pushing back the sleep, no doubt my team will be distracted. I glanced at the TV, it has gotten to Austin Texas.

Traffic was light, odd for 9am in LA, guess alot of people aren't showing up for work, shit. I have a good rep with alot of people working in both TV and film, this job came to me by a friend who helped me out with job between movie gigs. I repay by doing a good job and reliable on getting it done on time, unfortunately with the guilds and unions in LA how they are I can't edit the show myself if Jack, my editor, isn't there.

Fortunately Jack sat waiting in the edit bay, watching a streaming newscast. "Isn't there anything better to do Jack?" I smirked as he turned to me, "Not really, but I would like to know if I'm going to be turned into a Zombie any time soon. Plus the footage got done capturing and waiting in the mainframe." I couldn't argue with that so I sat and we started work. About 4pm Tania, my producer, walks in, "Hey Jim, you guys need to see this."
