Truce
Both sides are in war
the civilians are dying
the commanders have sworn
that our victory is in sight
But in our hours of "progress"
i've seen nothing but carnage
unfortunately it shows no end
the fight will continue
until both forces are dead
More to the point, we are losing men
our casualties have grown-
ever so immense
The chances are slim
our plans have been halted
we have no options left
the truce will be started
