Two weeks. Two weeks since I first heard about the zombies. I got an email from my parents and my kids. They decided there wasn't enough room, and supplies for everyone. They voted and decided to kill...exterminate....the elderly ones. I promised to see what I could do to get them more supplies. Though they tell me that I'll have to leave it at a drop off point, they won't let me re enter at all.

The figure on the roof of walmart....life really is ironic. Here, I'll explain.

I go to the doors, he opens one manually so I can go inside, and I realize I know him. His name's Jack. He was an ex boyfriend of mine, sort of. At that moment, I was very glad to have ended things extreemely well between us. As a bouncer, and an ex marine, I now understood how he had no problem getting that shot off. He told me about his experiance, how for him it had started at the night club, couple people turned to zombies, started attacking people...so many people everywhere it was impossible to stop or isolate it. He left them when he realized he couldn't stop it, or save anyone. Told him that survival is why he's here, and whatever brought hiim to that roof, I was greatful.

I spent the night there, ended up tossing my bat, it had a crack in the handle, and lets face it, I don't need a weapon that's going to fall appart. I picked up a nice axe in hardware, doubled bladed, thick heavy handle, and Jack had me practice with it for quite a while, said he was worried I'd end up cutting myself before I'd actually hit any zombies with it. I had to agree, it took a while for me to actually swing it in a full hard arch hard enough to decapitate something without nicking myself. Got supplies from the camping section. No tent stakes though, he'd gone through the tents and took them all for ammo. Told him about the others in the bunker. Jack tried talking me into staying at Walmart with him. I was tempted, it certainly had enough supplies to hold us for a long time, but then I thought of Al. He didn't get the option of sanctuary from these monsters, and if I stayed, there'd be one less fighting the attack. I knew I had to leave. Jack offered to help me, even gave me his new truck, it was a hummer, and loaded it up for me. Once I had it filled with supplies for myself and the others, I left. I didn't bother asking Jack to come with me, I knew he wouldn't have anyways. Atm My plan once I drop off supplies? Don't know. Guess I'll take out as many as I can here, see where I'm needed and head out.
