Try fire!

When encountring more than one zombie, utilize the element "FIRE"! By setting a group of zombies on fire, you establish time to escape while destroying the soft tissue that zombies use to track you! (Eyes & Ears) Also, if a zombie is very old and "dried out", said zombies spinal chord will burn into, thus destroying the link from serebral stem to nerves in the neck and back. This eliminates the zombies ability to move! In effect, may even discontinue the "unlife" of the creature!
