Well, all is well. Internet comes and goes so that's why it's taken me so long to get on here. We had some zombies in the house. We took care of it quickly the first time. Last night we were all sleeping in the basement when we heard a loud crash up stairs. We locked the younger kids and a few other people in the bomb shelter while we investigated. We made our way up the basement steps. I could hear it rummaging around in the kitchen area. We quietly opened the door a crack and a saw that the fridge was open. We opened the door and aimed for the head. All of a sudden the figure twirled around and threw it's hands up. Just as I was about to pull the trigger I heard the man say, " Hey, hey, hey, Im alive." He told us he was just looking for food and didn't know anyone was here. We told him he was welcome to stay with us. My uncle noticed the man had left the front door open so he shut it. We made our way into the basement. Just as my uncle went to close the basement door one of those things jumped at him and knocked him down the stairs. They struggled as I found the light switch. This thing was the most decomposed I have ever seen. I don't even know how it functioned. I grabbed the axe that was hanging on the wall and swung it at it's head. It's skull cracked as it buried into it's head. My uncle pushed it off him. He hung his head then looked up at me. It had bit him on the cheek. He held his wound. He got up and picked up one of the hand guns that was sitting on the table. He gave me the keys, and told me where everything important was. He said that he had to leave. I couldn't speak. I didn't think anything would ever happen to him. He told me to follow him up to the front door and to lock the door behind him as he left. There was nothing we could do to save him. He told me that he might wait and see what it's like being one of them. I told him to make sure that he was far away from us. Then he left and that is the last time I saw him. Now I have Phil to get acquainted with. He doesn't say much. I guess none of us really do.
