1907, Germany is having problems with some of its colonys. Rebelion, war, and now a Plague is riping threw a German colony in Samoa. There hasnt ben any contact with the German port thier. The last contact was a missionary ship that came from thier and reported an outbreak of some kind that is killing many and making people go insane and kill each other. The missionarys abord the ship requested supplies and when the resuppliy ship was ready all the men abord the ship were dead. Thier bodies were imedantly burned to brevent an outbreak in the FatherLand. The supply ship known as the "Angels Wing' was sent back to Samoa.
1907, the "Angels Wing" was suposed to be back 3 months ago. The government thinks that it was captured by rebels. Emporeor William II is worried, Germany had set up a oil drilling set up in Samoa and with Germanys great shiping network the need tons of oil. William II demands to know what is happing there, so Navy high command sends out its most able ship and captian Frederick H. Kilgour of the SMS Blücher.

This part of the story is taken from Kilgour;s personal dairy and starts from when the ship hits port and he and a search party of 20 reached the unamed villiage of were the medical supplies was requested.
July 15, 1907 We have reached the village. Me and 16 saliors, 1 priest, and 3 doctors are what makes up the search party. Its strange tho the village seems to be empty nothing but some blood and mutalated cattle are the only sign of a fight... My Lt. seems to be calling my name aparently they found some one...
July 16, 1907. Oh mercefull God what has happen here. All the villagers are mad with some 'Head Sickness" they came out of no were and attacked 5 of my men biting them, can you belive it they tried to eat my ship mates. The doctor is calling me...
July 16, 1907 night. The "Head Sickness' is contagius my men who were bittin died and rose up. All but 3 of my saliors an the priest are all that remains. We have heard nothing but screams and shooting coming form were we made port. I hope my men held them off. ---Note while fighting of my sick shipmattes it has come to my attion that the only way to kill a someone who is sick can only be killed with a bullet or blow to the skull.
July 17 1907, We are heading to the ship, we havent heard any nosie for a while....
