2nd Lt. Rosson's Journal-Part #2

We arrived at our destination about 5 minutes ago. We are supposed to be at Springfall Glades, the large community where this scientist is supposed to be. But all I see are a bunch of broken down houses.....And a lot of corpses. Apparently, those...things...have been here. I started to doubt the mission, and wanted to go back home, but we had to look for this man. Our leader, told us to split into two groups, and start in the first two houses. My partner was Ben. As we walked up toward the front door of the house. I noticed a shadow appear in the window. The minute I saw it, an extremely strange, and chilling feeling came upon me. I told ben to look, but as I looked back at the window, the figure was gone. We cautiously entered the house, and appeared to be in a living room. Then, we heard a quiet growl, and realized it was coming from the kitchen. This...was the room with that window i peered through. We tactically scanned the room, and I came across a girl, no more than 15 years old. Her hair covered her face, and I immediately put my crosshairs over her face, and called out. She did indeed answer me, and told us her name was, Emily. When the infected broke into her house, she hid in a nearby closet and watched her parents get brutally massacred. As thier limbs were completely torn apart. That must explain the blood all over her face. I called the other group and told them we had found a survivor, they found nothing, and we decided to search the next house together. It's getting close to nightfall, and I grow weary. We will scan out the house once again. And spend the night inside. 2nd Lt. Brad Rosson, out.
