Dear Readers,

Ahhh......Daytime. Even during this horrible fate that I'm in, I can't help to still thank God for every day of life, and every breath in my body. Today is also a pretty day. Not cold outside or anything. Think I may go outside a bit after I write this, and raid some local stores. Need a few more supplies. May even find that CB radio I'm pining for. lol

Well, remember the gunman that helped me escape that small group of dead-heads back in March? I met him today. Went on a supply run at the grocery again, and he was there. Coincidence? I don't know, but the grocery is lacking on food items now. His name is Eddie. Didn't get a last name. In these dire times, a last name isn't very important. Just wanted to be able to call him something other than "that-guy-with-brown-hair". No wonder he was such a good shot, though. He only lives a few blocks away in his apartment complex. He was on the, as it faces towards the direction I was heading in during the attack, and he was using a rifle with a scope. I don't know what type of rifle. It looked like a plain hunting rifle. Anywho, I offered him to come stay with me if he wanted, but he said he'd rather stay at his apartment by himself. He wanted to defend it at all costs, and he said he didn't feel right leaving it. He gave me a walkie-talkie, though. It was for us to be able to keep in contact. Pretty awesome, if I say so myself. Gives me someone to at least keep in touch with during these crucial and boring times. I managed to sneak past most zombies on my way back home. Only had to kill two. Saw three runners, and I managed to duck behind a car. Luckily, they didn't see me. I hate those damned bastards. The shamblers aren't too bad because they're so slow. Easy to pick off. I can get a good clean headshot from a pretty good deal ways away. The runners, not so much. They're fucking fast, and are up in my face before I can sometimes fire two shots off. Although, they're a lot more fun to kill, and a challenge. Killing these zeds is getting quite entertaining, I have to admit. I may try to become a full time zombie hunter. I don't know. It'd be fun, though.

I guess I'm going to take myself outside, refuel the generator, and wait for tonight. Luckily my fenced in backyard will help keep the undead at bay. Hopefully. Goodbye everyone, and stay safe in these harsh times!

Question of the Day: What's it like in your area right now? How many infected, and how bad is everything?
