After the Aces Part IV A Sniper's Promise

It has been a day now since my first real mission. When I was in the Desert Ace Special Forces my only job was to watch over a squad of idiots that cost me my job. I'm currently at a Refugee camp that the People's Army runs. After I stepped out of my tent I saw that my squad has made it out alive. "Good to have you back sir" said Andrew, Now Andrew is one of my top snipers, this guy can shoot a flea off a dogs back from 500 yards away, but before he became a sniper he spent 2 years as a demolitions expert for the ATPMC (Not the ZRSU branch). I was thrilled to see that man alive. And I also noticed a new face... Now I had no idea what this guy's name was but everyone called him zombieslayer and that works for me. Appropriate for what he was about to do. After a while of talking, this woman wearing a skin tight night-ops uniform came up and put her arms around him. Now I know that being a hero in a Zombie War zone can make some girls fall for you but DAMN this guy took the whole damn cake! After some more time the proximity alarm went off. now to the Komradz that alarm meant its time to move, but with hundreds of civilians and soldiers to move that is gonna take some time to move. I ran to Komrad Fennek to tel him that the ZRSU will stay behind to hold off their retreat. He said that will save hundreds of lives. I ran back to tell the squad to gear up we are staying to hold off the zombies while the refugees flee. Andrew had a better idea, I don't know where he got it but he pulled out enough c4 to bow up Tienanmen Square. His idea was to blow up the bridge and halt the zombie advancement all together. But what shocked me the most was that he offered to go at it alone. I replied saying a good sniper does it alone. After all i had faith in him. Me and the rest of the squad watched him as he advanced toward the bridge to plant the charges. now just to be safe i watched it all through the scope of my rifle. Suddenly this unknown mass just plowed Andrew over. I radioed to him "I got him in my Crosshairs."
