Battling the hordes

If you are seeking refuge, stay away from Waco. Despite what we have been told, the undead run this shithole now. My wife, daughter and I travelled from lacy lakeview to here, and let me tell you, it was the worst 25 miles of my life. Luckily, I was a little prepared. I was armed with my plr-16 and my dha. My wife, sarah, had my mossberg chainsaw. My little girl was my number one priority. Everything was fine until we got on the highway. So many abandoned vehicles were were in the way, crushed, wrecked, some still smoldering. There was no way we would manage to fit our trooper through all the shit, so I tried to move it aside with my ride. It was a no go. We would have to hoof it all the way to town. We had enough supplies to last 72 hours. I had 1000 rounds for my plr, and 50 12 gauge rounds. My dha was strapped to my back tanto style, so I could draw it backhanded. We got maybe 4 miles down the highway before they smelt us. The first one shambled out of a wrecked ford focus, the right side of his face was gone and the slick bone glistened in the hot texas sun. I hurried toward him and drew my dha. The less noise the better. KASLIIICK! His head fell to the ground and his convulsing body sprayed black ichor all over the road. Then, the gates of hell opened wide. I turned around and saw 5 coming at us from the left, and 6 on the right. FUCK! Same thing behind me. Sarah pointed the chainsaw head level and started unloading. Our daughter, abby, sat under sarah, gripping her leg for dear life. I scooped her up with my left hand and sprayed my plr with my right. "Run" I shouted, and took off, running, blasting, reloading, cutting. We killed at least 200 before we got into Waco. We are at the Academy store now. If anyone gets this message, stay away from here. There are just too damn many of 'em.
