After yesterday I felt pretty good, My flashbacks are almost completely gone...  or...  Well...  They are more back to normal rather than gone, but still, It has put me in a more relaxed mood, and given that the Fat Man is still providing meat for my group, we couldn't be happier.  Which reminds me, I don't believe I have written down everyone.  So here we go.  We have Jesse (Rooster, Bahdoner, Jess), Danielle (Dani), Taylor (Tay, TayTay), Max, Me, Shay and Lilly.  I like our little group.  Taylor was in the Airforce, Give him a destination and he will get us there, no matter what is in our way... Jesse did some PMC (Private Military Contractor) work back in the day and has been great at sneaking around and getting us whatever we need.  I am an ex-Marine Scout Sniper, and the last Military guy in our group.  Max worked with the city and knows all about electricity and all that fun stuff.  He is backbone of our house and group.  He is great at just about anything you ask him to do.  Shay, She was a cook and boy is she one damn great chef!  Give her anything and she can  make it taste great.  Lilly was the lead singer in the band "Now til then" and, well after being a singer, she knows how to get out of some REALLY tight places.  She's got a real eye for the little details most of us skip over.  Danielle...  She was born back out east and lived there most of her life.  She can kill anything that moves with a bow and Arrow or a shotgun.  She is almost as sly as Jess...  Almost.

So now that that is down on paper, lets get down to how the day was...  Me and Tay went out to go see if we could get anything out of Sector 21, We got about 4/6th of the community searched through.  We left jess back at the house because...  Well there always has to be one Military guy at the house at all times. So on our way to sector 21 we talked a little, had some laughs, some recaps from our childhood and had a pretty nice time...  until we saw...  It.  Running... Screeching...  It was the scariest thing I have ever seen in my life and this was the scariest moment of my life.  It was horrific.  It was...  a zombie....  but, It was more human than anything.  It ran, fast.  We bolted straight for the shrubs on the side of the road.  This...  Thing...  had to be going at least 20 MPH.  It was ugly too.  It had rabid yellow eyes, Skin torn so deep the now brown bone was showing in his arms.  He was big too, about 6'7.  I had never seen a zombie quite like It.  I sat there, Like it was all In slow-mo as it ran straight towards us.  It ran, Faster and harder.  His teeth were decaying fast and the look in his horrific yellow eyes told me that we were going to be lunch and there was NOTHING we could do about it.  And thats when it hit.  The .50 BMG round Pieced through this things throat.  But that's not the bad part.  Still in slow motion, I watched the head get decapitated as the round spiraled threw the throat.  I watched as the head nearly lost its little bit of colour and flew at us.  Its rabid yellow eyes looked rather soft and peaceful now.  The blood and his brains fell out of the skull while still in flight.  The now headless body, took a couple last steps and plopped to the ground with one big thud.  The neck, or what use to be the neck was now gushing out blood onto to cool asphalt jungle that lay beneath the body.  The blood was... Different.  It was a really bright blue, as If oxygen has no effect on his blood, as if his blood was mutated worse than the others.

30 seconds after the body hit the ground and the pool of blood had already become quite large, an SUV and a Harley pulled up to the now twitching corps.  The man on the Harley was none other than that overweight viking that I had saw on Halloween.  I started to raise my gun, just as I got my ridicule on his head, taylor started to lower my gun.  Two more cars had driven up.  We were out matched 1 to 9.  We watched as they cheered about how they had killed it and picked up the scrawny man who must have fired the .50 cal at the...  Thing...  Soon after they set fire to the body and drove off.  I yelled at taylor but I knew he was right too put my gun down.

After about 5 more minutes of walking we made it to Sector 21.  The gates were still closed (we kept them closed to make sure no zombz got in.) and we opened the gate and wen't to the house we last left off at.  and B-I-N-G-O was his name-o!  We found the jackpot.  An Army Vets house.  The second we say the plaque in the house, we knew we struck gold, But we still had to clear the house out like any normal house.  once that was done, we wen't searching for this guy's buried treasure.  And thats when we found it.  The gun safe.  We hid the gunsafe and wen't back to get Max to open the safe and Dani to help us carry all the guns and Ammo back.  We brought them back and it was getting late into the night.  But none the less, Max cracked the safe in a matter of minutes.  And boy, This guy had EVERYTHING.  P90's M14's M16's M4's he had an M60. hell, even an MG36!  We grabbed everything we could, locked the safe back up and wen't back to our stronghold.  Prior to this raid, all we had was an AR15, an L96 and my UMP.  Now, we had guns for everyone!  Once we got back, we put seven numbers into a hat.  And we picked one of the numbers.  Tay got 1, Shay got 2, I got 3, Lilly got 4, Dani got 5, Max got 6 and Jess got 7.  Tay wen't first and grabbed his beloved M14.  Shay got next pick, and with her lack of gun knowledge I helped her get what she wanted.  She grabbed the P90 which fit her perfectly.  It was light and easy to manipulate. I grabbed the MG36.  It had a Knights Armament RAS system on it, which I thought made it look amazing.  Lilly was next, She was also quite in-experienced with firearms, so Taylor helped her out.  After that was over she had a a little M4 that she just would not put down.  Dani grabbed a Spas 12, she thought it was simple enough and liked the look, but she liked her bow even more.  M60? of course max would grab it!  And Jess loved Roseanna, His L96AW, but every body needs a backup. He settled for a 92fs (Or M9 as some of you may know it as)

Now that we had guns for the group, we had to teach them how to use the guns.  Shay caught on pretty quick, Lilly needs some practice and max, was of course, a natural.  After that we had dinner and wen't back to our normal watch duties and soon enough it was bed time.

Today was alright, I had the scariest day in my life but most rewarding day since the Zpoc.  It was more win than it was loss, but that can always be taken away in an instant.

I like your detail of the unoxygenated (is that a word?) blood. See my case study in my pictures and you will notice he was constantly drooling this blue-black shit after i wiped most his last victim's blood off.
