Book Of The Dead - The Cherub
DESCRIPTION:
This is a very upsetting and unfortunate form of infection that is a cruel as it is disheartening. The cherub is what happens when a child becomes infected. These creatures are by far some of the most dangerous infected you will come across. The reason being the are an unexpected difficulty that few survivors are prepared to face, the cold reality is that the hunger of the undead knows no mercy. Be extremely cautious when going anywhere during an outbreak especially in abandoned houses and schools.
CREATION:
These poor creature are often created by those they looked to for protection and comfort in life. Since the majority of children have never even heard of a zombie they have no idea what to do when they encounter one. the child will almost always stay near an infected loved one unaware of the consequences until it's too late.
DESTRUCTION:This is particularly difficult with this form of infected, not because of any special ability but because they are the zombies of children. The tell tale signs of a cherub are as follows- they appear suddenly and silently, they will try to approach you slowly with outstretched arms giving the illusion of seeking comfort. Almost every child that has survived the initial will try to avoid all contact and cower from anything that move unable to determine who is safe and who is not. To kill these pitiful creatures is no different than killing a walker, even though they may look like children you must remember they are no longer a living being. i know it sounds cold but they are dead so don't hesitate or you will be too.

what would you say to joining forces. Your ideas are similar to mine. I would like to use the cherub idea in my novel. I have an idea for a smart zombie. It scientific and very plausible. I go into synapse, and degenerative tissue. The results are a necrotic viral phagia. Keep writing.
