The crawler is a relatively easy zombie to identify. They are the only zombie to attack you from above Due to the way they are created the Crawler possesses a limited climbing ability. I say limited because their version of climbing is more like a child swinging on monkey bars. These monkeys are a bit more lethal than children though.

Extreme measures must be taken in a possible crawler environment. Always have to less than three pairs of eyes scanning for them. Pay especially close attention to low hanging pipes or thick utility lines. Also travel in groups at all times in confirmed crawler ares, and try to spread out. And Always doulbe check ladders and fire escapes brfore using them.

CREATION:

The creation of a crawler is basically done by accident. The crawler i no more than a legless zombie. This most often happen parry mortem by a fatal accident such as a car crash. However some are created post infection mostly by explosives and automatic weapons. There have even been crawlers whose legs have just fallen off.

DESTRUCTION:

Destroying a crawler is as easy as crushing a bug under your boot. This is one of the few infected that can be eliminated with a melee weapon with out any undue risk. If you choose you use a fire arm its up to you.
