That's a little vague. If it were basically a metal box, it would depend on the type of metal it was made of, how thick the walls were and in what state of repair it was in. As long as it was in good repair and had a good thickness, probably not, unless it was a particularly weak, fragile or brittle metal. If it was the more typical cage, with bars instead of solid walls, it would depend on the metal, thickness of the "walls" (bars) and the state of repair, as well as the size of the zombie and the distance that the bars were apart. Its ability to hold a zombie would depend on everything that a wall would depend on in addition to how soft the metal was (if it was too soft, it would bend and probably let the zombie escape) and the zombie's size in relation to the space between the bars. Either way, it would also depend on the number of zombies kept in the cage. A cage that could hold one zombie safely may not be able to several and one that holds several will need more maintenance than one that holds one. I hope I was able to answer you question.
