It's two o'clock when I find her, blood still creeping out of her lifeless body; A red-head, around her mid-twenties. She could be anybody: someone's sister, daughter, mom even. But, there she is, lying face up with chunks of her defiled extremities resting here and there...I've been a cop for thirteen years, and I've never seen anything like that. I've dealt with shootings, bludgeoning's, strangulation's and stabbings, but never, ever have I dealt with a victim who was bitten to death... Jesus fuckin' Christ... what kind of sick bastard would do this? Even Dommer had the decency to do his evil deeds privately, but not this son-of-a-bitch; this was out in the open public where somebody could have easily stumbled over it. By some twisted coincidence, it just had to be me, of all people. It doesn't take long for CSI to reach the scene. The agents begin asking me all sorts of questions like "At what time did you come across the body?" and "Did you spot any suspicious characters fleeing the scene of the crime?" Despite being a veteran cop, I couldn't help but feel the slightest hint of suspicion towards me. Had I not been the guy to call it in, you'd think they suspected ME of doing it. I guess I'm just being paranoid, but who wouldn't be after seeing such a sight. My patrol partner Lonny and I decided to get a beer at the local pub after all the paper work had been filed. I had thought it was just another long day at the job...but I was wrong.
