Day 1

So as long as the internet and satellites don't go down I'll blog around when I'm able. So I made it home but the house is empty and my family is gone. My son, wife and hell even the dog and cat. I'm not sure whats going on here. I've turned on the tv but all I'm getting is static, nothing on every single channel. I went upstairs to have a look and it's empty, it seems as some one was here and gone in a hurry. I unlock my closet and open my gun safe, I pull my riffle and .357 magnum and what ammo I have left. Ditching the blue jeans for my ole BDU's I hadn't worn them in a while. I grab my tac belt and head back to my living room. I am still in awe, I have no idea of what those things I saw are nor what they want. All I know is they aren't getting close to me. I grab a duffel bag with what other clothing and shit I can stuff in it and head to my truck. There's still no cell service I have no communication with anyone. The radio say's though they will be on air within the hour. With a half a tank of fuel I am still not sure what to do. I need to find survivors or am I the only one left alive?
