Today we all were quiet. After last nights events, i can't blame them. Sitting beside the fire i was daydreaming of the horrible way Mr. Devins died: running towards the elevator; one or two dozen zombies chasing him; more making there way into the Comic Con; Alyssa holding the right side of the elevator doors, me on the left; trying to keep the elevator doors open; out of power, we couldn't hold them any longer; the doors closed shut just as he had dived for us and being only inches away.

We sat on the elevator floor, out of breath and with aching arm muscles, starring at each other. Everyone stood silently but Alyssa and i could hear their screams of terror from their tears and breathing.Only a few seconds after the doors had shut we all could hear Mr. Devin's cries and screams from the other side, and the moans and dragging of the zombie's limbs. I sensed that we all felt... disgusted with our selves. We each had vowed to NEVER leave a person behind; a member above all! The elevator had rumbled a little then started to move downward, leaving the now silent Comic Con above us.

The elevator wasn't just any, it was a double size eCon. That means it's military. These specific elevators were designed and programed for this situation. They had timers that started when a zombie first enters the comic con entries. 3 minutes. That's how long a huddle of people had to get to an elevator, Which is why it was very straining to keep them open 16 seconds passed 3 minutes for Mr. Devins. I sat back and leaned my head against the elevator wall, still tired from holding the elevator doors, I looked at the ceiling, asking myself... or demanding why i COULD NOT hold them just a little longer! I shook my head back in forth with disappointment and whipped my face with my hands, getting flustered.

"It's not your fault", one of the women standing in the left said.

"It's no one's fault", a man in a bright red Flash costume mumbled as he stared down in a daze of shock.

Just then i had noticed the people that witnessed what Alyssa and i had. Six men and Four women. Two men sat by me in a shock, their heads too, against the wall, cocked to the side, left leg down and right leg up; bent at the knee, their right wrists placed on their right knee. By them a woman and a man standing side by side in the left corner ( assumed to be together). The man looked paranoid ( who wouldn't be) and the woman looked... dead; her eyes empty and her body still. The only way i knew she was alive is because she had just spoke. By her another woman, and her daughter( about 16). Them i knew. Tracy Allen and her daughter Kelli Allen. Single mom and rebellious daughter, typical. Tracy keeled down with her head laying on her purse, Kelli just stood, leaning against the back wall with her arms crossed, but you could tell she was frightened through her constant eye movement. About a sweep away there were three men huddled together like they were trying to savor their body heat or something. One was in a Flash costume ( minus the mask) other two were some kind of Hiro Nokimora impersonators. Lastly, Near Alyssa was a young woman, probably 22 or something, she was sitting down Indian style leaning her head against the wall with her eyes shut.

It wasn't surprising how silent it was in there. Tracy was still crying and constantly moved making shuffling sounds that punctured the silent every so often. Alyssa and i met eyes once i observed the other passengers. I could tell she was just as disappointed as i was. We should not have left him behind, But in Life we can't have everything.

About a minute into the descent to the Mesto, the elevator dinged telling us we have reached level 1 below CC. We all looked up at the center of the elevator where the red " L1" lite up.

I thought to myself. We can't be somber. We had to be strong. I had to say something.

" We can't let Mr. Devin's death puncture us. It was wrong to have his life end in that way, but it happened. Just imagine how many others didn't make it to an elevator." After i got their attention i continued. " We need to be strong for the others we are about to regroup with. We need to know our training and stick to the rules," I said with a leader type of tone.

I was sitting indian style and looking at the emotional eyes in front of me. I knew it was hard it listen and obey, but it was our job. As i was about to lean back against the wall the man in the flash suit spoke up.

" I agree. I know this is movie like and all but I KNOW I'm not letting these fuckin' dead shitheads kill me, or worse, eat me! We all know the rules, We all went through training, so we were ALL prepared to handle these types of situations," he said building up confidence.

The lady clutched to the mans arm stated directly to him," We really weren't trained for this type of situation, our situation."

By meaning of seeing Mr. Devins left behind and hearing his last screams.

" I know we never thought it would really happen, but we trained for it," he said taking over the leader tone.

"He's right, i said standing up now. We did train for this. Just because we all never thought it was going to happen to us doesn't mean we can act like it didn't when it really did."

"Ding"

We were now to Level 2.

Ignoring the high pitched sound I calmed the tone down and said," My name is Samantha, ID number 111".

Flash added," Well, i'm Eric ID 410."

The guy next to him said," Jimmy, ID 670. My brother Calim."

Calim spoke," ID 223."

Alyssa stood up and added," I'm Alyssa, ID 104."

Tracy stood up as well," My name is Tracy, ID 965."

Kelli stayed in her same rebel stance," Kelli, ID 109."

The man in the corner shuffled a little removing his... the woman's hand," I'm John, ID 938. This is my fiance Judy."

Judy looked at John but directed her words to everyone," ID 865."

Lastly it was what i now noticed the twins turn.

"I'm Kenji, ID 112, and this is my brother Ko. We're new here, came from Kyoto, Japan, CODE E1." Kenji looked at Ko allowing him to speak.
" Ko, ID 114."

Now all introduced we felt more involved and not timid. We all were now standing waiting to get to L3, which was coming up, or coming down.... o.o to
