Failure and Redemption

The zeds destroyed the gardens and got in, oh I dunno how long ago a few days. The Rabbi, Tony, Casey and Sam didnt make it. Gene, Cynthia, Aurelia and the children and I managed to take the truck and as much ammo, food and water as we could. It was horrible, they...they..just mangled them...tore them apart...The Rabbi died trying to use a shovel to plug the gap in the fence, he told me to get out as they began to tear at his arms...

We fled north, staying at different places, never the same place for too long. We settled at a place I used to camp out at near Davis Lake, its got a creek and plenty of deer and birds and what not to eat. And luckly we found company, I ran into my old friends Casey Neal, Andrew Smith, Yvonne Shay and Amanda Walker camping where we did acouple years ago. I made the introductions and we combined our forces. Its good to see living people again, especially friends from the old world. Its been great, I still miss the others though...
