We have made contact with the ghostship. It is called the U.S.S. Homer, and it's a large fishing vessel ..

We took our boat right up the ghostship's wake. It's harder to keep your boat steady, but well worth the stealth.

I hate dirty water though, makes the boat hard to steer. Hell, a ship that can turn on a dime would only be able to turn three dollars in water like that.

We pulled up right beside her. Two of the crew and I boarded the boat, and left the last healthy guy to take the wheel.

As it turns out, there was only three crew members left on the ship. We found them right in the engine room, and took us three hours to convince them to

open the hatch and come out. Once they saw we were what we said we were, they started to loosen up a bit.

My team and I managed to work out a deal with them that involved nothing more than this: We tow our ship behind the Homer. In trade we provide safe nights, and of course

more people to talk to.

Two of them made a request. They get to use the lifeboat, and they get cut loose once we get in sight of land. I don't really blame them for feeling ditched. Even though they

didn't directly say this, you could tell by their eyes and faces that this is how they felt.
