Finally..... Things aren't as bad as I thought. But bad enough.

I went outside today... I had a .45 with two clips of ammo, and a baseball bat. Not much, but good for scouting... There were a few regular infected, about six or seven wandering around South Cobb... not that much, it rather surprised me, but I was cautious, I know enough to know that were there are 6, there may be 600 just around the corner. I figured I would just go back inside and get ready to go find Zero, when a runner spotted me, he let out some strange noise and charged toward me at full speed, I unholstered the .45 and fired two shots, the first one hit it in the shoulder, he wheeled around a bit but kept coming, the second one nailed him in the jaw, blood and gore eminated from his mouth as he seemed to vomit, he went down on his knees. By this time, my other hand railed the bat down onto the crow of his skull, splitting it almost in half on my door step, there were barains and gunk everywhere. I had had my first taste of blood and I liked it

By this time the Normal infected had noticed the commotion and turned toward me. Of course they weren't much of a threat, but now they knew where I was. I wasted no time and began sprinting down the street, there were barely any Ingected at all in this area... Strange. I kept running and found an abandoned Texaco, I went in the back door, and barracaded it with a shelf, here it was safe. The windows were boarded, there was a phone, and plenty of food. After further exploration of the store a stumbled upon a Remington 870 Pump Action under the counter, witha box of twenty four shells. What luck! I decied I had better call Zero on the phone, I dialed his number, but it went to voice mail. I left my message,"AJ. It's james, i'm calling from a gas station phone, call me back and tell me where you are and what's going on... i'm going to wait it out here for a day before leaving the store to come find you. Call back."
