My buddy's physician friend was found dead, hands tied behind his back, severely beaten and then shot in the back of the head. The body was found sitting in a chair in the middle of his living room. His wife and daughter were found bound and gagged in a closet, scared but not hurt. They knew nothing other than they were sleeping and someone grabbed them gagged and blindfolded them, they never saw a face or person. My buddy became scared and left the state, to this day I am not sure were he went. I then for reasons unknown to my self, purchased a laptop and started to transcribe all of the notes and some of the photos that I had taken were put on the laptop as well. I scanned the notebook and placed the images on the laptop as well. I started to carry a camera every place I went, and took pictures of the people I believed where following me. I was also able to get my hands on some video of when the CDC and WHO were at the facility were I worked. They must have missed these tapes or someone deliberately hid them. As I collected my data and pictures I became more and more paranoid. I jumped at every sound, and started sleeping with gun under my pillow. I started to see people that weren’t there, people staring at me; I just plainly was loosing my mind. I ended up loosing my job for excessive absenteeism. My attitude went down hill. My girlfriend who I would not tell anything to because I thought I was protecting her left me. I packed everything that I thought I would need sold my home and started traveling, sleeping in my truck, camping out in the woods. I would go to internet cafes and get on the internet and would log onto news groups and forums trying to find out anything I could. Then I noticed a pattern of outbreaks spreading across the world, plagues, and riots unexplained illnesses. I knew then that I was not all that crazy. As I started downloading every bit of information that I could I felt I gave me purpose. I started send out bits and pieces of the notebook; I started to get requests for copies to send to news papers and news sites. I started to be more open on the internet as there were more and more outbreaks across the world. Hacker videos started to appear of military troops killing whole villages and burning them to the ground in Africa and South America. And if you paid close attention to the videos you saw Zombies and not people being killed. Governments all over were trying to cover these outbreaks up by calling them riots and plagues. In the Middle East they were destroying terrorist training camp but on closer inspection they were zombie infested towns and villages. Soon the news was out Zombie outbreaks were being reported all over the world then here in the states and Canada. The truth was out, which meant I was no longer a threat. I did not notice anyone following me anymore. They had more important things to deal with. But here is the funny thing, it was not me that was becoming famous with the information of the virus, it was not me that people were seeking out but the information contained in my laptop. My laptop was what was becoming famous, a complete chronicles of the zombie outbreak, text, video, pictures diagrams. It was the laptop that everyone wanted to see. A beat-up old Compaq laptop. This leads us to the recent past, where I was sitting in a restaurant with some fellow zombie colleagues when 4 FBI agents approached me and me for my ID and then proceeded to confiscate my laptop. The famous laptop. They are such fools. The information had been downloaded to thousands of computers all across the internet. I had nothing on that famous laptop that could not be rebuilt or downloaded from a sight in which I uploaded it. So now we are here at the present, post “Z” Day. The outbreak is world wide, 100,000s of people, citizens turned into Zombies. And the survivors taking them down one bullet at a time. It will take some time to rebuild my chronicles as it will take some time to rid this earth of the Zombie menace. We start again……..
