Heading North

I don't have a lot of time so this will be short. My battle buddy was able to contact his wife. She is safe for the time being. She sought refuge in an abandoned attic and pulled up the ladder. Through some miracle she was able to get her laptop online for a few moments and sent an email out to my battle buddy giving us her sitrep and location. She is about 200 miles north of us in a heavily forested area. She accidentally turned on her flashlight before drawing the "blackout" curtains in her window. A swarm of zeds promptly surrounded the house. We're moving out within the hour. I hate these last minute missions but its for a friend. What would you do?

Let this be a lesson to the other survivors out there. Strict sound and light discipline is crucial. Just because you're lucky enough to have electricity doesn't mean you can use it willy-nilly. Turn off your damn lights or block the windows with heavy covering. If you can find or fashion a suppressor do so. Go loud only if you have no other recourse.
