Infection History UK

January 1st 2008,
Reports of the infected reaching the boarders of England and Scotland dominate the news channels. People flee from all major docks and airports. The military set up perimiters to try and stop the oncoming infection.

January 3rd 2008,
After 2 days of holding back the infected the perimiters at Aberdeen and Ipswich fall,by now hundereds of civilians have become infected. Panic flows across the UK and the Goverment announces its under control.

January 4th 2008,
The Priminister announces that the threat in Aberdeen has been dealt with and all borders have been closed. Military barriers have been set up in and around Cambridge and Hertford to halt the infection.

January 6th 2008,
Chelmsford, Cambridge and Norwitch have been lost. The Priminister declares a national emergency and all remaining troops are pulled back to London. All airports have been locked down and destroyed.

Janary 9th 2008,
For 3 days troops have kept London safe, but then comes a report of an outbreak in Edinburgh. Rumours circle the internet about the goverment capturing an infected and taking it to a research labratory in Edinburgh. Acording to the rumour, some of the scientists had infected themselves thinking they had found a cure. They were wrong.

January 10th 2008,
Edinburgh has been taken by the infection. Troops run thin in London as Bedford and Aylesbury fall.

January 12th 2008,
Troops are ordered to supply guns to any and all able survivours to defend London, unfortunatly riots break out. By this point nobody has herd from anyware above Wakefeild in 2 days.

January 14th 2008,
As riots continue in London the infection manages to break through the barriers. By 11.00pm the city is all but dead. The Priminister is reported to have fled to Exeter.

January 21st 2008,
The military power has been completely irradicated. All major areas have lost eletricity, and any survivors have hold up in there homes, shops or places of work.

May 7th 2008,
All attempts so far to reestablish colonies have failed up until this point. A small group of surviving solidures in Manchester have blocked off a cluster of estates and an estimated 250 people have gathered there. They managed to get an electricity supply going and collected food and water.


July 3rd 2008,
Several places like the one in manchester have been set up around the UK including; Nottingham, Reading and Lewes. The estimated population of the UK at this point is 2100.

July 28th 2008,
The Australian military arrives to try and reestablish the people of the UK.


October 1st 2008,
The Australian military has managed to repopulated 3 colonys, one in Manchester which has been "Minas Tirith" the last refuge of man, one in Lewes, now called Lewesport and one near Reading known as New Reading.The population now stands at around 2600.

Febuary 11th 2009,
Whilst gathering supplies in a hospital near Lewesport a solidure i violently attacked by a group of people who had been discovered living there. The 4 people were shot on sight. The solidure was brought ack to Lewesport miltary medical centre where he aparantly died later that day. Reports of his reanimation were never varified.

Febuary 18th 2009,
The military releases information on the 4 people who were living in the hospital. Aparantly these 4 people were infected with a mutated strain of the virus, this caused them not to die from a bite, but to still attack non-infected humans.

Febuary 23rd 2009,
Somehow the new strain of virus broke out in Lewesport. Surviours flee to New Reading, only 26 make it there. Swarms of the new infected attack New Readings boarders, the Australian military try to stop the infected but have to pull out after a 65% loss in solidures.

Febuary 25th 2009,
New Reading falls to the swarms of infected and 103 people manage to retreat to Minus Tirith. The population is now dwindleing on the 700 mark.

Febuary 28th 2009,
Minus Tirith lived up to its name and managed to push back the infection.


March 2nd 2009,
Survivours from New Reading arrive and are screened before entering "Minus" as its now dubbed. 37 people were turned away because they showed signs of infection.

March 16th 2009 - Present day,
The population of Minus is 831. The military guards do perimiter sweeps daily and nobody travels on there own. The virus hasnt shown itself since Febuary 28th and all seems peaceful for now. You want to know how i know all of this?.......

Because i survived it.
