Information

All the information that I've been getting is now getting less and less
There are few, if any, channels on TV that still work, both on cable and satellite
The radio is not informative anymore, only survivors that have broken into radio stations and made a desperate plea for help
The CB still works, so I can get in touch with survivors in convoys, on campus, etc
The internet is the only source that is still up and running, and I don't know if that will still be working at the end of this thing, anyway
From what I've read online on blogs and things like that, the infection is spread worldwide
I thought it might have been something like "The Hills Have Eyes" or something like that, but apparently it's an infection and not a mutation
The survivors that we have found and those that chose to stay on campus are running around scared
The president and all the deans have left
Only a few professors remain, the janitorial, repair, and food staff have chosen to stay behind, as well as the police officers
I've been working with the officers the best I can to try and get them to realize what this threat really is
The survivors that we found in Shelby and other places think that this is airborne, like SARS
There is no proof of that so far, only if you get bitten is when you become infected
But I don't want to find out either way
I guess I'm the de facto leader now, since I've kept my head and studied these things while they were here
The best I have to go on for info is the cameras I've had set up around campus
I put them on advantageous areas to see as far as they can
I'm glad we have a good film school here that has the cameras we need to use for surveillance
But the film students bitched and moaned about it though
Well, that's all I have time to type right now
I need to get back to monitoring activity on our perimeter
