IT'S JUST THE FLU !! (day 1)

I woke up feeling tired,it had been a long night.I made up with my girlfriend,smoked some great bud,drank alot and gotten a raise.I dragged myself into the bathroom to really wake myself up with a cool shower then a warm shave.Time for my favorite breakfast,a big plate of bacon and toast with apple jelly followed by a shot of vodka. CNN was still talking about the new infection that had been discovered in NEW YORK,BOSTON MIAMI and other big cities on the east coast.If what they were saying was true it looked pretty serious,people were rioting and attacking each other in the streets and in their own homes.Those injured people were taken to hospitals where the infection was spreading even quicker.People were starting to panic and looting had started in some places.Probably the media's fault for reporting that police were unable to cope and needed help with the rioters.I still thought it was the media blowing everything out of proportion and making the story bigger than it really was.All kinds of reports were coming on the screen some saying it was just a severe case of the flu,some were saying rabies,some were saying bio-terrorists,one idiot was even reporting the dead were coming back to life and attacking the living.When the anchor interviewing him heard all he had to say she laughed in his face and told him to get off the set.That crazy guy was still yelling about bites and blood when security pulled him off the stage,looking every bit the mad scientist with crazy hair,his segement was already on the internet getting laughed at by thousands.The last report i heard was of the riots in CHICAGO and DETRIOT before i turned the tv off.Whatever was going on it was moving west towards me.I thought it was the media getting excited over nothing because since OBAMA won there was nothing exciting to report.Still i would go get my flu shot today instead of putting it off again.I grabbed my keys stuck my .45 into the holster in my waist and walked out the door. Sitting in my tahoe i heard all the radio stations reporting about the panic on the east coast and how the infected area was getting bigger by the hour.The National Guard was gearing up to go to major cities on the east coast to try and help the local police deal with the looters and rioters.Radio reports were coming in about new infected areas every few minutes.As i pulled into Jose's driveway the radio reported riots in Seattle,DENVER,and L.A. great i thought some hosebag jumped on a plane with the flu and spread it to the west coast.I walked into JOSE'S house i found him cleaning his guns.Hunting season is not for three months i told him,he didnt laugh.He told me he got a call last night that made him nervous,his sister a reporter in MEXICO CITY told him that she was forced to report that rabies were the cause of the riots and the infection that was scaring everyone,but she had proof it was something else.He went on to say that she was at a hospital reporting on the infection when shots were fired into the crowd that was blocking the entrance to the hospital.When the shooting stopped 14 people were dead and put into bodybags,but 5 of those in the bags had gotten up and attacked the police and they wouldn't go down no matter how many times they were shot until they got shot thru the head.He told me the station manager had been ordered not to show the video and his sister had been forced to repeat the same lines every reporter in MEXICO were saying.When he showed me the video she had posted online i saw for myself and thought maybe this was real and not some media hype. When the president came on all the channels including the digital cable ones i knew it was serious,he had been on a trip to AUSTRALIA and was broadcasting from there.He said the C.D.C. had confirmed a new strain of the flu had mutated with a new strain of rabies and had created a new virus that was deadly to humans.This new virus was transmitted thru saliva and blood and caused people to become violently insane.An infected person could be identified by their inability to talk,their white lifeless eyes and their slow shuffling walk.The virus had caught everyone off guard and had spread too quickly to contain.His last words were even scarier MARTIAL LAW had been declared on the east coast and some other heavily infected states. I looked at JOSE and said THE SHIT HAS HIT THE FAN! are you ready? Are you he asked right back....
