It's started

Well it's started. The one thing I always feared would happen. Well the second thing I feared most, but this one is on a larger scale I guess you would say. Zombies. And of all times for it to happen I just got put on four kinds of medication. I'm a bit out of it, but you can't blame the medications for me having halucinations or anything. they aren't anything major. But the zombies are. I don't know what happened. It was last night. I was resting at home. Waiting to hear from my girlfriend. But I was waiting and I heard a scream outside. I just figured someone got bit by an animal so i wasn't too worried but I still checked. it wasn't an animal. It was a person. One of my neighbors. I had never been so frightened before in my life. He just seemed to tear at her uncontrollably. I didn't know what to do. So I got ahold of my parents. They were out partying and said to stay inside and told me where the ammo was to the guns. They were going to get home as soon as possible. Luckily they weren't too far out. They called me when they were about home and told me that there were incidents like this everywhere. I opened the door as they pulled up so I could give them cover fire. They were able to get inside pretty easily. All of the revenants (zombies) were occupied with the feast next door. I hate to say it, but our neighbor was quite a meal for these things so I'm glad he was a distraction. What came next nearly put me in shock. Danielle called. She was trapped by a group of revenants attacking her house. I was almost as terrified as she was. I couldn't lose her. Me and my parents knew our house wasn't going to hold for very long so we gathered what we could and headed out. We had guns, ammunition, and a scarcity of food. The problem was taking our dogs... This devastated me. They were two of my best friends but we couldn't have them with us. We put them down before we left. I hate to know what those creatures have done with what's left of them. But we had to get Danielle before they could get her. It wasn't too far but it seemed like forever getting to her. When we finally got there we were able to take out the revenants outside and get inside. She was the only one inside. Apparently everyone else had left earlier for something and not returned. We only had a small amount of time and gathered what resources she had and headed out. Hopefully we are gonna get through this. We have weapons and food, but it won't last forever and this could get much worse. Right now we are holding up in a friend of our's house. He had this place set up like a bomb shelter So it works pretty well right now. He has plenty of weapons and non perishable food. But I find it hard to believe we can stay here forever. I'll be back to write if anything else happens. And if you are reading this and can help. Please. We need all the help we can get.
