Damn. This time of year, coats and pants are like gold. Or in apocalypse terms, ammo and silencers. It's three in the morning and I can't sleep. This is fucking ridiculous. I've been hearing moaning an hour after Mark's funeral. I keep telling myself that we(and Mark) killed the rest of the zombies. I would have checked the balcony, but I'm too afraid too. I've gotta pee too. I've got three choices, A)Go to sleep. B)Get up to pee, and then go to sleep. Or C) Get up, pee, and then check the balcony. I wasn't gonna take the easy way out,A, and go to sleep. So, I peed, and then grabbed my rifle and went to check the balcony. I wish I hadn't given everyone a pill, I'm the only one who didn't take one. Now I've gotta stay up all night. I open the doors to the balcony and whisper, "Hooooollllllllyyy shhhiiiiiit," under my breath. More than a thousand Zed were there. None of them are facing the building were in, they are all facing towards Mark's crash site. That's a relief. I quietly shut the door, and then sigh. Then a thought occurs to me. "We only shut the barricades, we didn't set up the second and third defenses yet. I run downstairs and fix the second and third defenses on the right side of the building. Only when I get past the second defense do I realize, that I forgot to shut the barricade on this side. There are only 6 zombies in the basement. I kill them silently with my baseball bat. POP! goes one BANG! goes two others FWOOSH! go the last three. I shut the door and put up the barricade and defenses. Then I set the alarms. I got back upstairs and went to sleep. The alarm clock wakes me up this time. This clock isn't loud. But everyone else is awake, and at the balcony. "Dimitri," calls Scarlett, "come and see this." I look, and all the Zed have died, all of their bodies everywhere. Then, 5 trucks full of 15 or more people come down the road. Had they killed all the Zed?
