Not Alone Part Seven of The Apocalypse

Just another ordinary day, no zombies, no survivors. Around noon, that changed. A group of around thirty survivors heard my call. We let them in and began to board up the doors, when we found out that there was a horde of zombies following them.
“Shit,” said Bill, “We should have left them outside!”
“No,” I responded, “We could use more people. Strength in numbers.”
“Bill,” said Audrey, “He’s right. And you know it.”
“Yeah,” he said, “Come on in. Get situated.”
Later that night, Bill and I could hear the zombies outside. We could not tell where they were, but we knew that going to the truck was not an option.
“How long do you think we have until they break in?” I asked.
“I don’t know,” he replied. “We might have to leave sooner than we thought.”
