Right now the country is slowly dipping in to bad times. We have fuel prices rising. This forces food producers to pay more for their fuel and they are going to pass that cost on to the consumers. We end up paying more for food and everything else that is produced using fuel and energy. That's everything! The higher fuel and energy prices get the more people will have to do without or the more they will depend on the government to care for them. People running the Government see know that the more people beholding to them the more likely they are to get re-elected. They make regulations by circumventing the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They've gone beyond molesting the Bill of Rights. They are on the way to trampling it. It goes beyond political parties. Fools and Antagonists call it progress. They call themselves Progressives. They make personal responsibility a thing of the past. People who accept personal responsibility for their actions tend to not need the Government to prop them up.

I don't have a copy of the NDAA to quote. A Google search shows the number one site for the NDAA is Wikipedia. This is an excerpt from the Wikipedia page on the NDAA.

 

The most controversial provisions to receive wide attention are contained in Title X, Subtitle D, entitled "Counter-Terrorism." In particular, sub-sections 1021 and 1022, which deal with detention of persons the government suspects of involvement in terrorism, have generated controversy as to their legal meaning and their potential implications for abuse of Presidential authority. Although the White House and Senate sponsors maintain that the Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) already grants presidential authority for indefinite detention, the Act states that Congress "affirms" this authority and makes specific provisions as to the exercise of that authority. The detention provisions of the Act have received critical attention by, among others, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, and some media sources which are concerned about the scope of the President's authority, including contentions that those whom they claim may be held indefinitely could include U.S. citizens arrested on American soil, including arrests by members of the Armed Forces.

The government can track spending habits just like businesses. It isn't hard. In fact most businesses including credit card companies will sell the information they have on you. Credit Card Companies issue debit cards to banks. That's why there is a little VISA or Master Card LOGO on you Debit Card. Now there are face recognition programs used in security cameras at nightspots and restaurants to determine which DJ draws a bigger crowd and which specials bring in bigger numbers. Super Markets are going to begin using the same programs to determine what specials bring in the biggest draw and which demographic comes in during that time. Yes, all of these these things are currently anonymous but if you combine them with Security Face Recognition programs they are no longer anonymous. I've seen the Security Systems at seminars. They can pick a face off a street corner and bring up all of their information. These programs and hardware are used in Europe daily. Remember, European countries do not have a Bill of Rights like ours to protect The People from Government intrusion.

Another thing is that most people can't keep their mouth shut. If more then one person knows a secret then it is no longer a secret. You may tell a neighbor that you have some extra food for emergency. That isn't smart on two levels. 1. Your neighbor thinks "Hey, I don't need to prepare myself, Sam next door has lotsa stuff in his basement. He'll take care of me and my family. He's a good guy and we're friends." 2. Your neighbor has a big mouth and jokes with other neighbors and friends about the guy next door who is prepared for a Zombie Apocalypse or an Alien Invasion.

This is definitly a sign a a possible coming zpoc. The government is trying to strip the citizens of rights. I will be watching carefully of any possible more signs. Time to sharpen the knives and macthe and touch up on my survival and primative living skills. Maybe get some time in the gun range. Stay alive, stay hidden survivors!

I've sat down and talked to my fellow LEOs and asked them "When do you as an individual say no more?" The ones who say "No more to what?" are the ones I will be watching.
