I shall forever remember the last days of Washington D.C. before it was overrun by the infected. These memories are not fond ones. My name is Robert Malovich, and I was a congressional aide to a senator who will remain nameless.
After Las Vegas fell to the infected, one would think that the political parties
would have set aside their differences and band together to combat the undead
threat. It was not so. Not only did they not agree on what they were going to
do to contain the spread of the virus, they argued about what to call the
infected. Flesh-eating ghouls were overrunning the country, and the old fools
in Congress were arguing over what to call the bastards. Fuck me! I doubt that those
things would care if we called them zombies or “infected persons”.
By the time Congress had gotten its head on straight, the dead were already
crossing the Potomac. As they watched the undead overrun the capital's defenses,
they all finally reached a consensus; They all blamed the president.
