one day at a time

holy crap i actually found a laptop, and its on the net. i gotta work fast to get this out. there is alot of dead people around here. im in alabama, i need help anyone out there please send rescue. is the rest of the world just like this? most of my friends and family are dead now but they are still walking. i hid in my house for the first few days, until i ran out of bullets. my daughter and i looted a gas station for food and fuel. fire helps to keep the dead at bay. its really hard to shoot them in the head when they are coming at you in a large group moving fast. yesterday we rounded up a handfull of dogs from neighborhood houses. my daughter was almost bitten by a little girl whom she was freinds with , ive never shot a kid but i had to protect my own it was the hardest thing ive ever done. now we tied up all the dogs around the house to help protect us. it works for a while but eventualy some of the dogs were actualy eaten by the zombies. that drew more zombie attention to us so we made a run for it. we are currently hiding out in an old elementry school, it is just us and two other people here. is there anywhere safe to go? we cant hold up here for long it is a safe place for now. but rations are low. i hear gun shots all day im gonna try and hook up with other locals still alive but i dont wanna be mistaken for a dead guy. and if you come here just remember whatever you do DONT GO IN THE CORN FIELDS!!!!!!!!! i smell a fire i gotta go
