The death of Killa at the hands of Bruin has set me back, but my power has grown. My most recent raid, and also my first in my second Life Phase, was against Portland. It went something like this...

Its early morning outside of a small section of Portland, Oregon. The particular part of the city I had set my eyes one had been cut off from the rest of the city, making reinforcments from other humans a near impossibility. What was once a peacefull city has become a concrete jungle. Buildings crumbling and burning, bodies filling the streets, bullets flying... Its Hell incarnate. The cries of survivors fill the air, from the bloodlust roar of a human slaughtering one of the undead, to the shriek of a child being consumed. What the surviving humans don't know, however, is that their time is nearly up.

Cody Gordan, age 37, father of 2, huspand of Mary Gordan, is locked inside his house. His kids, Joe, age 12, and Susan, age 15, stay hidden in the kitchen, away from any windows or doors. Cody grunts quietly as he jams another magazine into his AK-47, then points the barrel out of a hole in the boarded up window above his head. He squeezes the trigger, letting loose a barrage of bullets from the nozzel. However, when they collide with their target, Cody perks up his head. Why was there a metallic *ping* anytime a bullet landed? He was used to the muffled *pop* of bullet-on-flesh. Curious, the man lifts his head to peek out the hole... right before a gauntlet-covered hand punches through. The blue, metal fingers of the glove grasp Cody's head, crushing his skull. His children peer around the corner just in time to watch their father ripped out through the window, than listen in terror to the sounds of him being devoured. Susan quickly graps her dad's Desert Eagle, while Joe grabs a Colt. The kids quickly take cover as a deafening *CRASH!* fills the house. Whatever had killed their dad was inside. They listened from their hiding spots as slow, heavy steps made their way through the one-story house, crushing whatever was underneath them. They heard their mother scream, which was quickly cut short. Their hearts froze as the creature's footsteps become louder and louder... Susan raised her pistol just as the armored figure rounded the corner into the kitchen. It was covered in thick blue and black armor, with it's only visible feature being it's mouth from underneath the helmet. The monster is covered in blood, their parent's blood. It's mouth twists into a smile as it begins to speak...

"Ah, so THESE are the children of the Gordan family," I said, looking down at the frightened children. "I know because I have your parent's memories." I tapped one finger to my helmeted head before advancing. A bloody sword rests in my right hand, dripping small drops of blood as I move. My gaze goes to the girl, than the boy. "Susan and Joseph... I want you to know that you will suffer as your parents did!" Without hesitating, I swing my sword, beheading both of them at the same time. A sadistic smile spreads across my face as I turn to leave, leaving the crumpled bodies where they lay. My gaze switches to outside, through the hole I made during my entrance. When I had arrived, I had brought more zombies, some of my special mutated ones, and they were having an effect. Tanks ran wild, tearing humans in half in mere seconds, while my Blade-Armed mutants sliced and diced. Blood ran like water as more and more of Portland was killed and burned.

I stepped outside, quickly killing a nearby survivor as he fled for his life. Soaking my hand in blood, I began spelling a message on the ground before leaving the town.

"THE CLOCK IS TICKING, WOLF PACK. COME AND GET ME"

I would just like to note that did not destroy all of Portland... yet.

I attacked a small section of it. Don't worry, the rest will fall soon enough.
