Pumpkin Child

She was 2 years old when she first saw a pumpkin.

      She can still remember her first Halloween, a long time ago.  The sweets, the family.

       All that changed that night, in '05, when "CAMPION" hit.  

Now, everybody practices hard.  REAL HARD.  

See, starting when you are 3 years old, they have you practice on pumpkins.   With an Ice axe, or a pick.  Every Autumn with out fail.  You give grace to the "CREATOR",  Bless the harvest, watch the edges, and survive for another season.

But the final thing is still  "Pumpkin Child".

See, kids in this world, are taught to be self-reliant.  No midway, No B.S.  They start practicing on pumpkins at about 3 years old.  When they can get the pick axe through the whole pumpkin, you are ready.....

On your 5th birthday, when you are considered worthy, you get to stab a ceremonial pumpkin, usually someone who has recently turned....

    If you are lucky, It's a "Pumpkin Child"
