Rain, but warmer...

It's raining again, been off and on the past few weeks now. It's a nice change though, washes the stench out of the air and the streets are a bit less bloody. Oddly enough it seems quiet today. I actually can hear the birds for once. Which is a relief after last night's fighting. A few of us were lost but thankfully things have managed to quiet down. Either we've just outlasted them or they're resting up. I'm sure that they'll be back at it again tonight.

That reminds me, have to fix the wiring on a few of the spotlights that we've managed to rig up to fend off the marauders and night crawlers that have happened by. I think that they may be keying in on the HAM radio broadcasts that I have been sending out periodically. Might have to put a stop to that here soon if this continues or at least use it sporadically.

Other than that things are alright. We've been dealing the best we can but have managed to fortify our block and are currently using a complex of six homes to the best of our advantage. If all goes well and we can shake these attacks we'll go out in search of more supplies over the weekend. I've heard of a few places that may have survivors and/or goods that are still accessible.
