I have seen three zombie films recently; the Day of the Dead Remake, Resident Evil -Extinction and Outpost. The DOTD remake can i say was disappointing, although its still an enjoyable zombie film. I feel if they followed the original plot more and developed on that it would have been a better film. Resident Evil was a great addition to the trilogy. I am loving the Resident Evil movies they have brought the zombie film genre into the 20th century.
Outpost a low budget B-movie was a surprisingly good film. It having been made in my native Scotland I didn’t hold out most hope of anywhere near a half decent film but it was a nice little surprise. From the extras I learnt that the scenes in the bunker were actually setup in my local town hall, which makes this film all the better.
My film reviews maybe a bit one sided as i like any film with zombies in it.
