I'm planning a z-short-film about a group of cavers. There's 4 of them, including me, going on a cave exploration. While deep inside one of them turns into a zombie due to previous unsuspected infection.
I plan on starting with them outside at the entrance, laughing and jokeing at the guy that feels sick, saying he's chickening out and just pretends to be sick, then entering the cave, some random cave exploration, then that guy turns. And I'm kind of stuck here, have no ideas how to move forward with the script.

I have the cave, the caveing equipment, two Sony handicams and 2 actors (including me). I plan on filming without extra lights, just some flashlights on the helmets, to keep the originality of the cave's darkness. Might start with fix or mobile cams, then take it to POV, by sticking the cams to the helmets, one on me and one on the zombie character.

So what do you think?

well I'm no entrepreneur on the movie scene but I could suggest something rather more psychological.
Obviously being in a cave the best complication to give a single zombie the advantage against 3 survivors is to do something like take away the most important thing humans need, their sight, but that's obvious, what I wanted to point out was a exploration into the explanation how zombies track their prey, we all know they have remarkably sensitive means of homing in on food and how to attract others and still be perfect at following people to that point with entirely missing limbs eyes or even familiarity in a given terrain, how they can smell even a scratch on the wind for miles and how they use the wail or the growl to attract more zombies and win by weight of numbers.

I think if you lived closer to the US I would help you out!! Are you familiar with the cave? If you are, maybe you could do a cool chase scene of some sort.
