I awoke to the sound of scream's. My first thought was an attack or maybe z horde was approaching and then I realized they were the screams of ... joy? I got up and dressed and grabbed my gun just in case I was wrong. I left my room and saw the hubbub was coming from a few doors over from my own, I approached to find that a girl I wasn't familiar with hugging a man I didn't know . I knocked on her wall and they looked up at my puzzled expression and said that they were fine and it was personal I apologized and went on my way, frank followed me out.

We got our meals then after we returned from are walk I did my chores for the day and ... waited for my life to begin, as I was pondering why I was staying here either then safety, then the 19 year old came in and leaned against the door, she had a full body and a dirty mouth I think her name was Kc.

            Hay short stuff what the @#^$ is up. "said kc with a mouth full of gum. Were did she get the gum I thought to my self,"nothing just bored. "what ever I am gonna go and see if I can steal some stuff from the surrounding buildings you wanna come?" said kc. "OK let's go." I replied as I stood back up and grabbed the gear I needed to keep me(and her)safe. As we left the compound-as people were beginning to call it-several of the solders waved at us from morning excersize and training. as we passed one of the tech tents one of the information officers yelled out at us to wait we stopped and turned just as he came out panting "hay... I ... was... wondering if... you guys... were ...going into town" panted the techie(we learned his name was miller). "yea what's it to ya? said Kc with an aloof look, It's not like you can stop us".  "ononono, on the contrary I need to come with you to study the properties the dead is having on the environment. like animal population or temperature to make sure we won't have to leave because of the rotting flesh."  "fine but don't hold us back if you sprain your ankle, your dead, got it!" said Kc with a growl. " Cool I said, it's decided then we started walking to the park gate. but were should we go?".  "I think with have the highest probability of good luck If we let fate amuse her self with us and we explore the road with your name" said miller. Frowning in confusion I ask "wheres that,"  "well replied miller,from this location its 200 yards east and then 48 yards north a bit deep in town. At this thought I had a brilliant idea...

Now I am sure you all remember when I had brought my mini "satellite" turns it was to good to be true, just a damn flying thing with a camera which not even a child would a call a satellite. Not to mention that the stupid mini-nuke turned out to be a damn fake , in this case both would be useful. Hay guys chill out hear for a few minutes I said, I am gonna be right back." I ran back to the compound and grabbed the heli and "nuke" I kept in my room then got to the mechanics tent outside and started looking for parts for my plan. One of the mechanics an actual civilian mechanic asked "watcha doin' their boy."  "I want to hook something heavy to something else that can be dropped from a clamp and sustain the fall then emit loud obnoxious noises to draw z to that location and then still be able to use what I used to send the device, basically a Bomber heli with lots of torque, for aerial reconasaince." "hmmmm, said the mechanic I see... sounds like what  your gonna need is a lawn mower alternator a car battery a claw device and a sound amplifier and recorder or a car horn but that will probably be to heavy so lets find the parts quickly this could take a while... an hour and a half later i had finished the H.E.L.O.R the heavy electrical load operations and reconasaince drone, and the H.F.R.E.G the high frequency radius emitter grenade they were ghetto but it would save are lives.

When I returned to the location to find kc moping and miller unconscious. "What happened ?... I asked cautiously since something might have happened that put her in a bad mood. "well when you left miller just laid down and got a boner so I wanted to jerk him off and he said I wasn't his type so I punch him in the face she replied as she pulled her self up and stood so are you ready?" I nodded with a shocked expression on my face then she kick miller's side to wake him up "come on pervert were going as miller was startled awake she started heading out. i followed with my new gear as miller stumbled after us with his experiment gear we took off down the road most directly to smith ave.  

turns out that this road was packed with zombie... remains, ironically it was the street that the flame tanks(now over run with from the creatures that ate the operators. corpses were all over the tanks with the soldiers dead by killing themselves so they wouldn't be eaten alive... smart bastards.) the few who were on the road were clearly new ones since they weren't burned we(I) dealt with them quickly kc wanted to use her gun but i reasoned with her that it would only attract more luckily I had my knife and a bat i had put some nails in(I didn't need the knife). when we got to the end of that street we turned right down a street 2 blocks and 13 zombies later we arrived on smith ave.

"Well, that was easy I thought to my self a bit to easy I checked behind me and realized why there were so few zombies, raiders" I whispered with fear. "Kc,miller hustle up we need to do this quickly check the houses entrance if you see anything useful in front of the door take that stuff only we cannot spend more then a minute and a half per houses," "why asked kc confused?" I pointed to a block away to my right "see those vehicles, their military but see the people around it? Those are raiders they will kill us rape you and take all our stuff, clearly they don't know were here but I would bet my balls they know about the camp there probably heading there now so we got to do this fast miller what are you doing?  "I am almost done with the decomposition data said miller, I will watch there progress and keep you informed through the walk-talks gogogo don't worry about me just tell me when you want me to get to your location I have this silenced pistol if i need it you get going." "ok I agree watch your back" as he begins to turn back around I see an almost scary look enter his eyes if i knew what he was planning once he had finished his analyses i would have told him to not hot dog and get the fuck out of there unfortunately i don't know my chemistry or that he had packed some hydrofloricide which put with anything except C.P.A.D. plastic will dissolve it into HIGHLY explosive gasses which he planed to explode when the raiders reached the danger close proximity of his chemical explosives when we finished are search with meager results i told miller to get his ass over here now we would go around this block to avoid visual contact with the raiders he replied and we some him hauling ass to are location if i didn't know better I would have thought that he was running a bit fast especially with all the data he collected...

BOOM HSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I flinched when I started hearing the blood curdling screams I then realized why he had ran so fast to reach us." you dumb fuck I hissed get down both of you army crawl to around the block gogogo we need to get out of here i will watch are ass they know someone set the trap chances are they will think it was the camp they will go slower from here on out so once we turn the corner run like hell ignore everything else give me the silenced pistol i will make sure you guys get back safely we need to get to camp immediately and tell every one about the threat". Ironically everything went according to plan we didn't even get spotted by the raiders when we had to pass the cross walk back on to the street we started on. When we got back to camp we realised the camp had heard the explosions and was all ready prepared for an attack i told then the details and reorganized the defences for raiders instead of a horde we were ready now we had to wait.

"well well well looks like you were right Anfrony, sam was the kid in you math class" said some ass hole with a soldier helmet with a skull spray painted on it. "I am guessing you are the leader" said the sergeant(I still don't know his name). yea I am and now that I have introduced my self how about you give us all your shit and women and we will kill you all quickly" well that is an option but we don't like dieing so we will have to refuse. one stupid teenager with a knife wound on his face(probably self inflicted as a right of passage)spoke up and yelled gtfo of are base bitches"! merl had the personal pleasure of shooting him in the foot "we refuse yur kind offer said merl,now get off our land you piece' a shit. "well we would but it isn't your land it's ours" said skull cap. "unfortunalty we lost the deed so I guess that will never be proven and besides the sergeant grinned finders keepers, losers weepers" 

"I don't think you understand said skull cap, we will kill you. I if it wasn't perfectly clear with are chemical explosive trap since it is the only thing gauranted to kill zombies and assholes we will also kill you. skull cap was obviously hoping we were not the ones who set the trap maybe he didn't even know it was a trap either way this just became a lot more dangerous for him. he clearly flinched and all of his buddies clearly looked afraid so it was you who took out are friends well don't worry we will pay you back for that one, let's get out of here guys. as he turned around the captain pulled out his rifle and  yelled you don't actually think were going to let you leave so you can terrorize us later do you and with that every one pulled out rifles with only one round every single rifle we all fired at once the raiders scattered with huge losses on there part they had no time to think about there trucks and supplies on guy even got out of the a vehicle and ran away the remaining raiders never bothered us again we got their vehicles and the supplies they left and we used the dead bodies as warnings to any other raiders by hanging their bodies around the park it was brutal and many did not like the idea but me and most of the soldier new how important it was to scare away bandits life got back to safe and we continued with are survival but most new we were gonna need to have ways to get people to us if there survivors and as a way to signal for rescue. that is another problem for another day
