I knew I should of listened to my brain I been surviving for 2 years now no problem by my self but as I was passing through a major city and saw a caravan passing me by so I let them pass. I stopped to find some new clothes and military boots in an abandoned surplus store and then I heard it and sickening crash and crunch in the distance followed by screaming. I reacted without thinking I gathered up what I had and hopped in the truck and was about to back up and leave but something told me I had to help but my brain was telling me not to. Telling me to just drive and survive on my own but I said fuck it I hit the gas and headed up to the road where I heard the crash and i hit a couple infected with my truck and hopped out and started shooting the infected with my Winchester shotgun (it used to be my grandfathers and has served me well) I took out about six infected before one tried to bite me but pushed him off with my weapon before he could.i yelled out "get to my truck NOW!" I saw a couple survivors hop in the back of my truck covering me I hopped back in my truck and peeled out and said "are any of u bit" they told me no and I saw in my rear view mirror and saw one of them gripping his arm and I saw him let go and I saw the bite mark. I pulled over and said " you in the middle get the fuck out of my truck" they look at me baffled and I said "you're bit and I don't want u infecting anyone else cause I don't want to put down anymore people than I have to" they looked at me and said "he ain't going anywhere" and pointed his weapon at me and I said "you really want to walk this road" he told me "were taking your tru..." at that moment I pulled a sawed off shotgun and shot all three of them with one shot and said "what a waste of bullets" dumped the bodies out of the truck and I noticed a little bit of movement under the truck and I looked under the truck and it was a little boy that was hiding on the little platform I put under there so I would never ruin the underside while running over a zombie I told him he could come out and put him in the truck and kept driving and I said "what's ur name son?" he said marcus I said Marcus welcome home and welcome to combat training and survival........to be continued.
