Just did a check-up onMaria, Her temperature has risen to about 40°C. Beside the fact that she has been shivering nonstop she vomited 2 times in the past 30 minutes, I haven’t told her husband anything. Asked Simon if he could watch her for a few hours, I really need a nap.
Woke up two hours ago, screaming and shouting coming from the other side of the building. Somehow I knew what was going on though I was hoping with all my heart I was wrong. I found Maria on the floor, her husband beside her shouting something about her heart having stopped. Simon lay a few feet away supported by Isabella, blood dripping down the right side of his face. Maria’s husband shaking her back and forth, his hands all covered up in blood. Drawing the nail gun I first shot Maria and as her husband turned to me I shot him too. Put the weapon down after watching them slump down on the ground, 9 inch nails in their heads. Putting down the gun between some books I walked downstairs, telling Marcus there were two more bodies that needed disposing of. I’m writing this in the storage room after laying curled up on the floor sobbing and trying to compose myself for half an hour.
Woke up, my hands still wet with tears, Isabella pounding on the door. The new ones were asking for an explanation. I told her I’d be with her in half an hour.
The other group has a spokesperson, trying to get the other five of his group on his side. He failed however, I read the zombie book back and forth and because of my ability make people believe every and anything I tell them, I managed to outsmart him. He tried to make some vague point by asking for an explanation of why I killed both Maria and Isaac, her husband. Simon stepped forward before I could answer; telling Frank that Isaac would have become a liability. Frank stood upm, pointing a finger at Simon saying he couldn’t be sure of that, Simon said thathe as a physiatrist could know.
At noon I send everyone inthe other group upstairs to eat something. Frank immediately stepped forward, loudly asking why we didn’t go eat. Calmly I explained the four of us would stand guard and go eat after the other group would take over. Honestly, I just wanted to talk with the other three without the others knowing about it. They chose me as their leader, the other group has placed their faith in Frank. Simon told me he had been in the air force, some high up officer. He’s trying to tip the power scale to his side, Marcus grinned and said that that wouldn’t be hard with his physical build. We all laughed before pressing our hands to our lips, muffling until all that could be heard was a soft giggling. Once we all had ourselves back under control we went to check the building, Isabella walked with me, handing me a list about every survivor we had at the moment. I call it a list but she wrote a small biography about every member, I still don’t know how she did that. I did ask her but she just giggled and said she used her charm, winked and walked away smiling.
I have a plan, it’s bizarre, illogical and I’ll need the support of the entire group for it to work, but if it works we’ll have a place that will keep us safe for at least a few months. Isabella’s biographies about our newest members were a big help. I wrote down their skills point by point, I’ll include it with the book, should something happen, Simon will be able to take over.
