The Walking Dead
So I watch the AMC show Walking Dead, I love the idea of a zombie tv show, since there aren't any and who wouldn't want to watch a show every week about zombies?
There are only 6 episodes so far and apparently it is not officially canceled yet, it's on hiatus
I think it had some potential, kinda hoping to see more of it
I mean, it was bad editing and they never did explain the cause of the zombie apocalypse, but I think I could really go somewhere
I don't know, has anyone else seen it?

Hell even if it gets cancelled there are the novels to follow. After seeing it on AMC its good but almost wished it was on Starzz or even HBO. Imagine those who would subscribe to see it on those Channels=$$$

Lets hope it gets many more seasons and isn't one of those cool shows that aren't mainstream that gets cancelled after a few years (American Gothic, Terminator, etc...)

The initial six episode first season was kind of a test-run. Apparently, it gained enough viewers to merit a full 13 episode season this fall.

They said that is has officially been picked up for a second season. Second season is supposer to come back on the air in October to coincide with AMC's "Shriek Week". So yes you can get your zombie fill on Television! I thought the series was pretty good. There where a few things that I think they rushed, because it was only six episodes. I hope that perhaps next season will be longer and allow for better character development. And ever since the last episode I've been dying to know the CDC doctor whispered in the cops ear. I guess we'll have to wait until October.

You do realize The Walking Dead is based off a comic book series by Robert Kirkman. The comic has won numerous awards and is extremely entertaining. I suggest you start reading the comic, it's far superior than the tv show.

I love that show, I really hope they keep it on. I never got to see the last 3 or so episodes but you're right, it definitely has potential.

BTW not sure if you're aware it's based on a comic series.. they have plenty of story line ahead though it's not strictly in line with the comic story line... i have season one in paper back.. the art is soo cool..

just received series 1 dvd set... can't wait to watch it over again... it's got some special features too ... can't wait for 2nd series to start but they've not even started filming... they start in June i think...
